Description

The ATC-820 is a low-cost USB-to-Serial RS485 converter. It allows you to add an RS485 COM port to devices with a USB interface.
When the device is connected to the USB port of a PC, it is automatically recognized and a native COM port compatible with any application requiring serial communication is installed.

The USB-to-serial converter can be configured for two-wire RS485 networks (Half Duplex). When operating in two-wire RS485, the converter automatically performs data transfer control.

The ATC-820 has a 384 byte reception buffer with an adjustable timeout and a 128 byte transmission buffer with automatic transmission control. The ATC-820 makes it easy to add RS-485 devices to your system with a simple plug-and-play installation.
