The ATC-804 is a 4-port RS-232 USB converter designed for use with a PC, thin client or server to provide 4 COM port expansion via the Universal Serial Bus (USB).
The device is supported by Windows 95/98/ME, 2000, 2003, XP, Vista, Win7, WinCE and Linux operating systems.
The ATC-804 provides the scalability needed to quickly adapt to new USB technologies, several modules can be added to a single USB interface allowing RS232 connectivity to be added as needed.
With the USB Plug-and-Play function, simply connect the device to your PC and follow the installation wizard, the rest is done. The system automatically recognizes the device and installs the necessary drivers.

The module is equipped with USB-B I/F compatible 1.1 and 2.0, RS232 I/F on DB9M (DTE) connector and extractable terminals for power connection, necessary in case the USB interface is not able to supply the necessary current.
The converter is also equipped with surge protection on the RS232 interface.
