The TH 161 combined probe is designed to measure temperature and relative humidity in water protected environments and is equipped with an I2C interface. The device consists of a polyamide housing, in which the SHT30F sensor is inserted, and a PVC insulated connection cable.
The sensor has free access to air, which ensures a very fast response to changes in both measured quantities.
Communication with the sensor is managed via the I2C bus with communication speed up to 1MHz. Possibility of a maximum of two distinct and user selectable addresses.

- Probe length: 40mm
- Connection cable: unshielded PVC 5*AWG28 diam. 4mm, length 3m (NOT connected)
Recommendations on operating conditions to ensure more accurate output values:
- Temperature around the sensor: 5 to 60 °C
- Relative humidity of the environment: 20 to 80%.
- Atmospheric pressure: 87 to 106 kPa
The combined temperature and humidity probe is equipped with a special PTFE diaphragm, which improves the sensor's dust and water resistance, provides an IP65 level of protection, and allows it to be used in harsh environments, even in the presence of dust and/or splashes.
These devices are designed for general use, for operation in a chemically non-aggressive environment, their use must be chosen in relation to the temperature and chemical resistance of the housing, sensor and input cable.
