The STI/STU and STID/STUD converters allow the conversion of signals from temperature sensitive resistive elements Ni1000/6180, Pt100/3850 or Pt 1000/3850 into a unified 4-20 mA or 0-10Vdc signal.
These converters can be used in any control system compatible with current or voltage output.
The STI and STID versions have a 4-20mA current output, while the STU and STUD versions have a 0-10Vdc voltage output.
There are also two variants of the converter housing:
- STI and STU converters: Polyamide housing, identical to, for example, the S 120 sensor connection head.
They are equipped with a bracket for wall mounting or a clip for mounting to a DIN rail. The terminal box housing meets the IP65 protection requirements according to EN60529. - STID and STUD Ni converters: self-extinguishing Noryl SE1 housing. They are intended for the installation of a switch cabinet on a DIN rail. The terminal box housing meets the IP20 protection requirements according to EN60529.
The sensors are supplied for a measuring range from -30 to +60 °C. Other ranges are possible on request.
