This manual, written by Sensit, stems from the need to retain written experience with the application and operation of resistance temperature sensors made by Sensit and provide users with assistance and guidance for their applications.
The first edition of this Design Manual has been supplemented not only with more experience, but also with the information most frequently requested by customers. Sensit is pleased that an increasing number of users of the Design Manual also provide feedback in the form of suggestions and requests for its expansion, particularly its theoretical aspect.

The terminology of this manual is committed to strictly comply with the EN 60751 standard, valid from June 1, 2009. Where it is customary to use different terms or relationships, these are also indicated.
