This temperature probe with cable is designed for the measurement of gaseous and liquid substances and has an IP68 degree of protection. The maximum temperature range of use is -40 to +200 °C.
Thanks to the stainless steel case with adiameter of 6mm, the probe can be supplied with different types of sensor (Pt 100, Pt 1000, Ni 1000, Ni 10000, NTC, PTC, KTY, TSiC, DS18B20, thermocouples K, J, T etc.), and with a body length of 60mm.
The probe meets IP68 (1 bar) according to EN 60 529 and is designed to measure temperature below the water surface by continuous immersion at depths of up to 5m.
The method of use must be chosen taking into account the temperature and chemical resistance of the housing and the input cable.
The cable used has silicone insulation and is shielded; the temperature probe wiring is 2-wire as standard unless otherwise specified.
The housing material has a particularly high resistance to oils.
The probe is compatible with the model JS 130 thermowell.
