ATC-1200 Ethernet to Serial Converter

The ATC-1200 is a highly integrated and low-cost Ethernet-to-Serial converter (Device server). It incorporates an AX11005 single cycle RISC processor for instruction with a maximum operating frequency of 100 Mhz (100 MIPS), built-in 512 KB Flash memory and 32 kB SRAM data memory. It is equipped with 10/100Mbps Ethernet port and serial port with RTS/CTS hardware handshake.

The supported baud rates are 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 115200, 921600.
Supports communications at 5, 6, 7, 8 bits with 1, 1.5, 2 stop bits and even, odd, none.

The Ethernet-Serial converter can control devices with RS232/422/485 port located almost anywhere (via Ethernet or Internet). It automatically detects devices in network configuration via driver panels, serial port, Telnet, WEB browser, automatic SNMP switching mode between drivers and in RAW mode. Supports TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, IPv4, DHCP, BOOTP, ARP, DNS, SMTP, SNTP, uPNP and HTTP protocols.

The ATC-1200 is a step forward compared to the previous ATC-1000, this new second generation has more advanced features at a slightly higher price. What has been achieved is a better and more reliable design, which can be used for more applications and devices.

Thanks to the new processor, with improved performance, low latencies and more functionality, the device has the following new features:

• Email Notifications
  You can receive notification by email if a user performs a Cold Start of the converter, when an authentication error occurs, if the local IP has changed, or if the password has been changed.
• IP address restrictions
  You can only allow the specified IP addresses to connect to the ATC-1200.
• Higher baud rates
  Baud rates up to 921600bps for RS485/RS422.
• Works best in virtual COM mode

The ATC-1200 is an industrial device server designed to connect devices with RS232/422/485 port, such as CNC, PLC, electronic weighbridges, scanners and other devices, directly to the Ethernet TCP/IP 10/100Mbps network. Connected to the serial port of the device allows networking, any host (PC server or workstation) can access the serial device.

the device is equipped with Ethernet I/F on RJ45 connector, DB9M (DTE) connectors for RS232 I/F connection and extractable terminals for RS422/485 connection. The converter is also equipped with surge protection on RS422/485 interface.

The power supply can be supplied either through removable terminals or through standard 9Vdc adapter (included) (2.1mm jack).

The device is equipped with a web server, this allows you to configure it from a normal browser (Example Internet Explorer).

The device can be set for master or slave operation, allowing two devices to be independently connected to each other to remote a serial line on an Ethernet network (Paired mode).

The product is supplied complete with the following accessories:

An adapter is optionally available to allow DIN rail mounting.
