The TR160, TR161 and TR162 temperature probes are intended for temperature measurements of solids, loose soils, gaseous materials and liquids. The degree of protection is IP 67 according to EN 60529 standard.
The probes have a polyamide housing with a diameter of 6mm (TR160), 8mm (TR161) or 10mm (TR162) in which the sensing element (sensor) is hermetically encapsulated.
They are equipped with a PVC-insulated cable up to 105°C (unless otherwise indicated). The cable has a diameter of 3.5 mm and standard lengths 1, 2, 5 and 10m.

All types of thin layer sensing resistor elements are made by SENSIT (Ni 1000, Ni 891, Ni 2226, Pt 100, Pt 500, Pt 1000, NTC 20 kW), while the others (NTC and PTC thermistors, KTY, DS18B20 and others) may be from other companies.
The wiring of temperature probes is standard 2-wire unless otherwise specified.
The housing material has a particularly high resistance to motor oils.
