This board is the semi-finished component of the Compact PLC Module with Ethernet, and is supplied as an OEM module for system integrators.
The board is equipped with a powerful Cortex M7 processor which, with its 2Mb of Flash memory and 300MHz clock, breaks the limits of user program size and application execution speed and has RTC as standard on 'Extended' versions.
Like its predecessor, this board is equipped with 6 digital inputs, 4 digital outputs (Relays, OptoMOS or SSR zero-cross static) and 2 12-bit analog inputs and allows the management of expansion I/O SlimLine boards through the I2C™ expansion bus (Fast mode).
Like the other CPUs in the family, it incorporates a high efficiency power supply, sized to connect up to 4 expansion cards.
To connect the expansion cards to the CPU, it is necessary to use the appropriate corded bus expansion cables (Cod. CBL074*000/CBL045*000) to be ordered separately.
I/O and power supply connections are made through removable connectors for easier maintenance.
Programmability according to IEC61131-3
The device is programmable in the 5 languages provided by the IEC61131-3 standard, through the development tool LogicLaba completely free programming tool. A wide set of functions and function blocks is available (go to the list).
Integrated web server
The device is equipped with an integrated web server that makes available web pages for configuration and general information on the system status, as well as web pages that can be fully configured by the user. The "responsive" technology makes the pages perfectly navigable even from mobile devices.
FRAM technology
Thanks to the use of non-volatile memories in FRAM technology (ferroelectric RAM), it has been possible to eliminate the battery, thus minimizing maintenance and environmental impact at the end of the product life and eliminating the constraints imposed by the directives for the transport of products containing batteries.
FRAM technology also guarantees a practically unlimited number of writing cycles, thus improving the reliability of the system, and a very low power consumption even during the writing phases.

The PLC SlimLine family has been conceived with the aim of safeguarding the investment in programming made by the Customer both in terms of portability to/from other platforms and in terms of protection against copying and fraudulent use of the applications developed (see this link).
A wide range of libraries and function blocks (FB) is available to perform a variety of functions.
There are also some available optionally, for the use of which it is necessary to obtain the unlock code at MID (Manufacturer ID) or DID (Device ID) level. Go to the list.
