When prolonged contact between an iButton® and the probe/reader is required, the magnetic keychain is ideal. Used with the 1-Wire Magnetic Reader, the ibutton is held in contact with the probe by a metal ring that is strongly attracted to the magnets in the reader. Some examples of use: in-vehicle enabling systems, vending machines, EPOS systems and secure access.
Normally we supply these devices with the unique serial identifier DS1990R, but other iButton can be supplied on request. Please contact us for a quote.
