iButton 1-Wire Reader

iButton Maxim devices are small modules engineered in extremely robust and durable stainless steel enclosures with globally unique digital addresses.
The iButton product range includes temperature sensors, data memories, unique identification devices, etc., particularly suitable for data logging...access control, asset tracking and electronic transactions (eCash).

The iButton® DS9092 reader provides the electrical contact needed to transfer data to and from the iButton DS19xx family.
Its round shape makes it extremely easy to mount on any panel. It is equipped with wear-resistant and easy-to-clean metal contacts.
The DS9092 is available with a faceplate flat (standard) or with optional tactile feedback. The central contact of the standard reader has no moving parts, making this type of interface even more robust and suitable for use in harsh environments.
This type of reader is best suited in cases where the iButton device is brought into contact with it.
The tactile feedback probe is ideal in cases where the iButton is stationary and the mobile reader is brought into contact with it.
Both types of readers are available in panel mount versions.
The tactile feedback probe is also available in a handheld version.
The panel mounting versions are fixed at the rear with a spring fastening.
The connection is made by means of two 15cm 22AWG wires.
The handheld version, on the other hand, is equipped with a 10cm handle and 1m cable, terminated with an RJ-11 connector.

iButton readers can be easily integrated with our CPUs SlimLineusing the DS9097U adapter or directly on CPUs with 1-wire interface, using the "sOWRdIdentifier" function block.
