This device allows to acquire the status of 4 logic inputs and to manage the status of 4 relay logic outputs through an Ethernet network, using TRP-ASCII or Modbus ASCII/RTU protocols.
It can be used in all those cases where it is necessary to remote digital I/O using the existing network wiring and TCP/IP protocol.
The device can be used in "Paired" mode with another TRP-C28H or easily integrated into your application through the use of Modbus commands. The status of the outputs can also be set from the device web page, as well as the status of the inputs can be read in the same way.
The watchdog circuit The device allows the device to automatically recover states of malfunction. The function Heart Beat ensures reliable communication.
The device is equipped with extractable terminals both for the connection of RS485 I/F and the power supply and I/O.
The I/Os are optoisolated from the system and equipped with LEDs to signal the logical status.
The extended range power supply from 18 to 30Vdc can be supplied either through removable terminals or through standard 12Vdc adapter (2.1mm jack).
Configuration can be performed using the TRP-C3X Device Server Manager (DSM) program, or via a standard web browser, thanks to the integrated web server.
The TRP-C3X DSM allows various functions:
- Search for devices connected to the network
- Viewing and changing the configuration
- Firmware Upgrade
- Saving and loading configuration files
An adapter is optionally available to allow DIN rail mounting (See figure).
