This device allows to connect together devices equipped with RS232/422/485 serial interface using a single mode fiber optic cable. It is particularly suitable where it is necessary to transmit data over long distances (up to 40km).

The converter is equipped with galvanic isolation and surge protection on the RS485 line.

The device is equipped with removable terminals for the connection of the RS232/422/485 I/F.

The power supply can be supplied either through removable terminals or through standard 12Vdc adapter (2.1mm jack).

An adapter is optionally available to allow DIN rail mounting (See figure).
