ATC-277SM-SC serial to fiber converter

The ATC-277SM-SC is a fiber-optic modem, which allows the connection of RS232/422/485 devices via an in-line cable. singlemode fiber.
The device allows the connection up to over 20 kilometers of fiber cables and supports point-to-point mode or Ring (dot-multipoint).

Supports data transfer rates up to 250kbps and allows you to pair devices with different interfaces. This means that the ATC-277SM can replace interface converters and isolators when connecting remote devices, preserving the EMI/RFI characteristics and transient immunity of the optical fiber.

The device supports both transmission and reception lines, and offers full hardware control of the RS-422/485 driver with automatic circuitry to control the sent data.
All serial connections are available on the DB9-M female connector or on removable 6-pin terminal, while the optical fiber is connected via SC connectors.
Optionally the device can be supplied with SC or FC fiber connectors (for quantity).

The unit is powered from 9 to 24Vdc 250mA max.
