Aranet4 is an innovative battery-powered standalone wireless air quality sensor for monitoring CO², temperature, relative humidity and air pressure in your home, school, office or other indoor environment. The device is portable, simple to install, easy to use and lets you know when the levels being monitored have become unhealthy.
An anti-theft wall mount is available. It uses a security Torx screw that requires a screwdriver with a Torx T15 security insert to remove it.
The measurement data is displayed on an energy-efficient e-ink screen that enables long battery life.
In addition, the device can provide visual and audible notifications if the CO² concentration becomes unhealthy. The high concentration level of 1400 ppm (parts per million) - a level typically associated with drowsiness complaints and poor air quality. Green-yellow-red traffic light switching thresholds can be customized via the App.
Aranet4 is compatible with Aranet Cloud.

Both versions have Bluetooth wireless connectivity for interfacing with Smartphone and/or Tablet via Aranet Home app (IoS and Android). Aranet2 PRO is additionally equipped with an 868MHz radio that allows it to interface with the Aranet PRO Base Station. Up to 100 Aranet4 PROs can be connected to one base station.
Using Aranet Home app on your smart device you can wirelessly access real-time data and up to one week of historical measurement data. The app also enables Aranet2/4 device configuration and supports connecting multiple Aranet sensors and monitoring their parameters remotely from a single smart device.

The Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Associations (REHVA) recommends the use of CO2 measurement inside the buildings for assess the risks of SARS-CoV-2 transmission via aerosol. CO2 is a gas produced when we breathe, its concentration can be a good indicator of insufficient ventilation.
Monitoring the CO2 level allows you to know at a glance whether the ventilation of the rooms is sufficient and whether there is a high risk of COVID infection by aerosols.
