1-Wire adapter to RS232 DS9097U

The DS9097U is a sophisticated 1-Wire (MicroLanTM) to RS232 adapter , which performs RS232 level conversion and actively generates 1-Wire communication signals.
Using a suitable TMEX driver, this device allows an IBM-compatible PC to communicate directly with any 1-Wire device connected to it through the RJ-11 port. The DS9097U adapters are based on the DS2480B 1-Wire Line Driver chip.
The RXD/TXD polarity setting pin of the chip is connected to VDD (non-inverting). The free driver can be downloaded from https://www.maximintegrated.com/en/app-notes/index.mvp/id/192. The DS9097U can communicate with 1-Wire devices both at regular speed and in Overdrive mode. The serial port must support a data rate of 9600bps. Under the control of the software, the adapter can be set to data rates of 19200, 57600 and 115200bps. The two higher speeds are suitable for communication at Overdrive speeds with devices that support this mode.
Since the DS9097U operates in byte mode, each byte of data received from the RS232 port generates eight time slots on the 1-Wire line. For the connection with the CPUs SlimLine it is recommended to use the adapters code CBL055*000 and CBL057**00.
