OpenWrt 4G/LTE Cellular Router with WL-R220LFX I/O - 2nd Series

The OpenWrt WL-R220L 4G/LTE Cellular Router is an industrial M2M device (Machine to Machine) that can operate on 4G / 3G cellular network to provide reliable, secure and high-speed wireless connectivity with I/O and VPN support.
It is a powerful and programmable industrial device with high performance and robust enclosure designed for remote management, telemetry, condition monitoring, CCTV, ATMs, vending machines, and other M2M applications.

What can I use OpenWrt for? OpenWrt is a Linux distribution for routers; it offers an integrated software package manager that allows you to install the package from a software repository. It can be used for everything a built-in Linux system can allow, including operation as an SSH server, VPN, traffic shaping system and so on.
The WL-R220L router is based on the OpenWrt trunk system, which is configured using a web interface (LuCI). Customers can be authorized to customize the device to suit any application from the selection and configuration provided by WLINK.

So the WL-R220L router is suitable for users who want drop-in replacement firmware. Instead of trying to enclose all possible functionality in one firmware, OpenWrt provides only minimal firmware with support for additional packages. For users this means the ability to customize the functionality, remove unwanted packages to make room for other packages and, for developers, it means being able to focus on a single software package without having to test and release an entire firmware.

With the dual SIM function, this router can back up the network between the two SIM cards to ensure a seamless connection without interruption. Optional GPS functionality makes the router ideal for fleet monitoring or access management.

The device is suitable for M2M connectivity in harsh or remote environments due to its robust metal housing, I/0 port, DIN rail mount and operating temperature from -30 to 70 °C.
