Data Exchange - Data and I/O transfer via Ethernet/Radio

Data exchange is an application, written for the CPUs SlimLine, that allows data and I/O transfer via Ethernet/Internet or via radio (with external radiomodem). The application allows the transfer of logical states from one site to another and, limited to Ethernet/Internet mode, theextension of an RS232 serial port (peer-to-peer mode). The application is configurable from a Web page thanks to the CPU's built-in Web server.

The basic configuration (CPU module only) allows to manage 6 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs, but it is possible to combine the various extension modules of the family to increase the number of both digital and analog I/Os managed. Unlike standard market products this application, being written in IEC61131-3, on a programmable product (PLC), can be adapted on demand to specific Customer requirements.

In radio communication, different types of radiomodems can be selected from the configurator, from the cheapest ones for short distances (up to 500mt) to VHF-band ones with communication possibilities of several kilometers. If the customer is able to program the PLC of the two CPU modules, he can write his own program, using the module's I/O to handle his automation needs on both sides of the communication.

The configurator allows you to select the modules needed for your application, starting with the power supply, CPU module, any additional I/O modules, radiomodem and cabling cables.
