Description

The MeanWell DRC series is a new generation of DIN rail AC/DC switching power supplies designed to provide safety power.
In addition to the primary output, they are equipped with a battery charger output (UPS function) with a lower current rating, which allows the application of these devices as a security power supply, as required in access control systems.

DRC power supplies accept universal input between 90Vac and 264Vac, and provide 13.8Vdc or 27.6Vdc output depending on the model. With up to 89% efficiency, they can operate with cooling air convection from -30°C to +70°C.
In addition to basic protection functions such as overload protection, overvoltage protection, disconnected battery, and reverse polarity protection of the battery (with fuse), a signal for AC input OK and low battery alarm, via output relay, is provided to facilitate system design.
