The ATC-1200 is a cost effective and highly integrated Ethernet-to-Serial Converter (Device server). Embedding an 8-bit AX11005 RISC processor, single cycle per instruction with maximum operating frequency of 100Mhz (100 MIPS), Embedded 512KB Flash memory and 32KB SRAM for data memory, 10/100Mbps Ethernet and serial port support handshake RTS, CTS.
The device can control 1 x RS232/422/485 devices located virtually anywhere (via Ethernet or Internet). It automatically finds devices in the network Configuration over Driver Panels, serial Port, Telnet, WEB Browser, SNMP Automatic mode switching between Driver and RAW mode.
It supports TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, Support TCP, UDP, ICMP, IPv4, DHCP, BOOTP, ARP, DNS, SMTP, SNTP, uPNP, and HTTP in software.
The ATC-1200 is a step up from the best selled ATC-1000. This new 2nd generation has more features at only a slightly higher price. What you get is a better and more reliable design which can be used for more applications and devices.
Besides a new processor which has better performance, lower latencies and more features you also get the following new functions:
- Email notifications
Get notified by email if a user Cold starts the converter, when there is an Authication failure, if the Local IP has changed or if the Password has changed.
- IP address restriction
Allow only specified IP addresses to be able to connect to the ATC-1200.
- Higher baud rates
Baud rates up to 921600bps for RS485/RS422.
- Works better in virtual COM mode
ATC-1200 is an industrial-strength network-based Serial device server for connecting one RS232/422/485 device like CNC, PLC, weighting scale, scanner and other device, directly to the 10/100Mbps Ethernet network running TCP/IP.
In addition to allowing serial devices to get networked, any host (PC Server or Workstation) can also access remote serial device via adding ATC-1200 devices to the existing serial port.
The device is provided of an ethernet interface on RJ45 connector and of 1 DB9M (DTE) to connect RS232 interface and an extractable 3.81mm TB for RS422/485 connection.
It is also provided of a surge protection on the RS422/485.
The power supply may be connected through a standard 9Vdc adapter (included) (jack 2.1mm) or TB.
The device has an integrated web server that allows to access to all the parameters over the ethernet by using normal browser (ie Internet Explorer).
The product is supplied with the following accessories :
- AC/DC power supply adapter
- CD Rom documentation and driver
Optionally it is available an adapter to allow the DIN rail mounting (See figure).
